Minor stitch issues in the film are fine, but major noticeable errors are avoided, and the film is in 360 format

Edit the film together in a way that makes coherent sense.

Film is edited to have narrative structure of some kind - e.g. documentary, travel story, horror story.

Student edits the color/brightness/ stylization of the film

All clips appear visually like they are in the same film

Add a title screen at the beginning of the film, and a credit screen at the end

Titles are clear and legible and appear at the appropriate moment in the film

The Art of Interactivity

Criteria Meet Specification

Student provides Unity project, along with links to stream the videos, and a correctly setup Cardboard VR camera.

Unity project is provided and set up correctly for Cardboard VR. NO videos are included in the project. They must be uploaded on the internet and streamed in.

Project contains controls for in-game play, pause and restart control for the film.

Do the project controls play the film correctly? Is the camera set up so that the viewer is inside the 360 video sphere? Where are the controls placed (or how are they activated?)

Student uses spatial audio in at least one location - could be a sound effect, voice over, dialogue or music.

Audio coming from one distinct source is set up correctly using the Google cardboard spatial audio spatializer (Resonance Audio Source).

Choose your own adventure - add in at least one branch to the story where users can choose which path to take

Utilize either hotspots activated with a click, or a gaze based trigger. In either case, transition to a specific part of the film depending on user choice.

Add particle effects either where appropriate in the film, or in the title/credit sequences

Use particles sparingly, but effectively - winter scene? add subtle snow. Horror movie? some creepy smoke will help with immersion. If there are no appropriate places in your film for particles, utilize them in your credit or title sequence.
